I've just moved from the city to a beautiful property on the Trent River. The climate is different than what I'm used to, so I have to educate myself on what grows best here. Also, my budget is small, so I need to be careful not to get caught up in my usual Spring frenzy of buying every beautiful flower I see. One of my biggest challenges will be the size of my property, which is a vastly different than my small city Lot. I love gardening and I want to be surrounded by gardens, but I want the property to look natural, so I'm trying to abandon my "city garden" mindset and draw from all the nature around me. I think the trick is many small manageable gardens. My challenge - keeping them small. What am I looking forward to this gardening season? Everything!!
